ITAG-ÖKOLEX Zrt. was founded at the time of the regime change. In 1989, a few Hungarian economists and lawyers set up a company to lay the foundations. Among the shareholders of the private limited company established in Hungary in 1992 was the Internationale Treuhand AG founded in 1947 in the Basel Triangle. During these years the professional background and development of the company group built up in Hungary had been greatly supported by the Swiss shareholder. In 2007 the Swiss shareholder sold his shares to domestic professionals due to a change of ownership at home.
Currently, ITAG-ÖKOLEX Business Consultancy Plc. preserving its independence gives reliable and professional advice and provides solutions in German or English language as well.
The company has been planning and shaping its future with optimism and purpose based on its experience, stable staff and its conservative values: in Hungary it maintains and expands its domestic and international client base, preserving its specific philosophy of providing good in a good way which is the utmost key to its success.
The company has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Győr-Moson-Sopron County since the inception.
